Mbo lawmaker, Ufuo, hails Gov Udom on construction of Enwang, Ibaka roads

Member representing Mbo in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr Samuel Ufuo, has hailed Governor Udom Emmanuel for the reconstruction/expansion of Etebi- Enwang-Ibaka Road, and the subsequent approval for the extension of Udung Uko-Edikor Road up to Uko Itak-Eyulor in Mbo local government area.

Ufuo, who spoke with assembly correspondents shortly after plenary on Tuesday, said the construction of Mbo roads will boost the economy and development of his constituency and the state in general.

According to him, the expansion of roads in Mbo would add more value especially to the riverine communities, and that the socio-economic activities of his constituents would increase the standard of living of the residents.

He explained further that the constituency has been benefitting tremendously from the Udom led administration, urging the constituents to cooperate with the state government and contractors on the execution of every project in the area.

Meanwhile, Mr Ufuo said that preparation for his constituency briefing which is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th March, 2018, is in top gear.

Ufuo who is serving his first term in the House said he will assist his constituents with empowerment materials worth millions of naira at the occasion.

He noted that the gesture will be apart from the constant empowerment he has done for his people within the two years of his stay in the legislature, adding that he will be holding the ceremony in order to interact with the Mbo people, to brief them about what he has done and how well to go further.
