Fans deserve better, Tiwa Savage says as she blasts Kenyan promoters over inefficient service

On Saturday, September 15, Tiwa Savage made an appearance at the Carnivore Grounds in Kenya where she gave a beautiful performance.

The event she attended was in honour of the album launch of a particular musician called Redsan. In as much as Tiwa enjoyed performing for her fans in Kenya, she did not quite appreciate the service provided by the Kenyan promoters.

To express her displeasure, she took to Twitter to start a thread. According to the sensational female hip hop artist, the Kenyan promoters did not make full payment for the hotel she was lodged at, and a car was not also provided to take those who performed to the airport for departure.

She was not also pleased by the fact that her phone had been buzzed one too many times before the show, but no one has made an effort to call her after the performance came to an end. Rather, they all switched off their phones.

Tiwa, however, maintained that she loved her Kenyan fans and did not mind being put through all these because of them.

Besides, the female musician had much respect for Redsan, the artiste in Kenya whose show she had performed in.

She highlighted her support for him in this statement:“He is one of the most consistent artistes I know and I really admire his style and distinct sound. I look forward to working with him as we take African music to the world.”

The Lova Lova crooner was not the only one to have a positive view about Redsan.

Collin Edwards whose stage name is Demarco also had a good testimony about the singer while promoting the show held on Saturday.

“Redsan and I have been friends in music for a long time and I am glad to be back to support his album launch. I am looking forward to the show tomorrow and call out all our fans to come out and support Kenya’s son.”
